The best travel plan you can have. There are many plans now available for travelers than before. I did a lot of research and spoke with several reps. Some plans are too good to be true of the coverage they seem to imply. What I found at infplans.com is that they are honest in telling somethings are not covered and some things covered and yet other things vary by circumstances and medical records.. which is expected. In my case, my mom has high BP and takes medication. I am looking for a plan that cover pre-existing conditions for doctor visits as well as any major issues. None of the plans I spoke with cover doctor visits but they say they would cover in case of emergency. I decided to INF Elite program which has covered urgent care visits of my mom without any issue. I am not sure why people think that they can buy an insurance after their visitor got sick and expect the insurance guys cover it and then use the social media to write bad and worthless reviews without revealing all facts. I spoke to INFCS reps and they indicated to me as long as you buy before arrival with good intentions (i.e do not cheat on the form with wrong date of birth or arrival date etc), they cover. That is why I went ahead and bought the plan before my mom came and no issues of coverage. I recommend everyone to buy the plan before visitors come to avoid denial of claims.

Read 2 more reviews about BMI, Diplomat America and others! Advertisement Aug 12, 2024I have been buying this insurance for my parents for a while now and this year we got to visit a doctor's office for the first time and the experience was horrible. The plan was INF elite premier which is the most expensive one and yet the UHC card was not recognized at provider. The number on the back of the card did not connect us to UHC, but to Robin Assist which probably is their claim handler that said the policy is not enrolled yet and it would take 48 hours to enrol. Lots of chasing them and somehow insurance card was entered in the system after 2 days and not there are so many issues. The provider keeps telling me about one issue or the other. I have spent countless hours chasing Robin Assist over phone. Now I got a letter from provider that the insurance claim was denied because date of birth doesn't match. There is some random date that shows up in insurance records. I am tired and would not recommend this company to anyone. It would have been much cheaper for me to pay out of pocket. This feels like a scam to me. Not sure if they care about their reputation. I find their practices deliberate to discourage claims.

Jul 5, 2024Purchased INF Premier for my mom (member ID ending in 9299) visiting from June 2023 till Feb 2024. We only needed one ER visit during this time. INF told us in Feb that all bills had been settled. However, in June'24 we are finding that the insurance only paid $500 from the approx $5k ER bill. The Premier plan is supposed to cover up to $100k and $15k for pre-existing conditions!! Unfortunately hospitals end up taking a loss in cases like this. RobinAssist which was always chatty and available during plan purchase and doctor referrals is now nowhere to be found.

Hi Rohit- thanks for reaching us. You purchased a fixed benefit plan which pays $500 for ER services. Upon review of our EOB, we actually covered closer to $7,000 for your ER bill are you get the United Healthcare PPO discount. INF Premier is the only fixed benefit plan which provides discounts from United Healthcare- hence your coverage was much higher than the $500.
It is important to note that if you had purchased the INF Elite plan- your out of pocket expense would be only 10% of the total bill. However, since INF Premier is a fixed benefit plan, we paid $500 + a massive United Healthcare PPO discount, making your total coverage $7,196.
Please reach out to us directly, as we have not gotten any correspondence from you on this matter, and we're happy to reprocess the claims to see if there is any additional discounts we can provide you. You can email us at operations@infplans.com, thank you!
